Scientists have revealed which types of food are associated with better sleep. Finnish researchers examined 5043 adults to determine how their diet affects the duration and quality of their sleep. The results showed that individuals with normal sleep duration consume more fruits and vegetables, especially green leafy ones, compared to those who sleep too little or too much. However, the differences were only observed in certain types of fruits and vegetables, including leafy greens, root vegetables, and fruit vegetables like tomatoes and cucumbers. Cabbage, mushrooms, onions, peas, and beans were not significantly associated with differences in sleep patterns.
