Guinea feather breaks auction records

A feather belonging to the extinct Guia bird species from New Zealand has been sold at an auction for $28,000. The auction organizers expected the feather to fetch $1,500, but it ended up becoming the most expensive feather in history. The previous record holder was sold in 2010 for $5,000.
