May 18, 2024

UNESCO will send information about human culture to the Moon in case of a global catastrophe. The capsule will be placed on board the Japanese automated module Hakuto-R of the private Japanese company ispace. It is planned to be sent in winter together with a compact lunar rover. In two years, the company's third lunar mission is also expected to take place, within which a larger and more modern module, Apex 1.0, capable of carrying up to 500 kilograms of useful payload, will be used.
