Introducing License-Free Electric Aircrafts in the USA

May 13, 2024

This summer, the US will start selling electric aircrafts that do not require a pilot's license. The aircraft, created by startup Pivotal with the support of Google co-founder Larry Page, can accelerate up to 100 km/h and fly up to 32 km on a single charge. They are said to be as easy to control as drones, and for added safety, they come equipped with a ballistic parachute. The price starts at $190,000, and it includes training and a trailer for transportation.
