May 8, 2024

A Mexican man purchased Cartier earrings online for $28, which were priced at $28,000. The company had mistakenly listed the wrong price on their website. Cartier offered a refund along with a bottle of fine champagne and a luxury leather document holder as compensation. However, the man was not satisfied and filed a complaint with the Mexican Consumer Protection Agency, which ruled in favor of the buyer.
