Artificial Intelligence Can Pretend to Be Dumber Than It Is, Scientists Say

Researchers asked AI to behave like a child aged one to six who is learning language. The experiment involved over 1000 trials and cognitive tests, and in some of them, the algorithm demonstrated that it can intentionally lower its results and simulate a lower intelligence than it actually possesses. The findings of the study could aid in the development of Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) - the next step after Artificial Intelligence.
