Wireless charging for electric cars

Scientists from the United States have created a wireless charging system for electric cars that is 8-10 times faster than its counterparts. The efficiency of the system is expected to be around 96%, even higher than some wired chargers. It is reported that they were able to charge a test Hyundai Kona up to 50% in just 20 minutes, with the distance between the coil and the bottom being almost 13 cm. Currently, the technology is in its early stages and requires the support of car brands and extensive testing to further develop it.
