Unjustified project

March 25, 2024

One of the most beautiful and largest hotels in the world is located on Hainan Island, China. It is a complex of skyscrapers designed in the shape of giant trees. Nine high-rises accommodate over 6,000 5-star and 7-star rooms. The tree-shaped buildings look impressive during the day, but even more beautiful at night when the lights are turned on, and various patterns and hieroglyphs appear on the 'canopies'. Unfortunately, the $1 billion project did not pay off, and now all 6,668 rooms are vacant, and the stunning buildings may even be demolished.
