Dog actor denied entry to the Oscars

The Oscar ceremony refused to let a dog actor in. Messi the dog played one of the main roles in the drama 'Anatomy of a Fall', which was nominated for several statues. Some film companies complained to the organizers that the presence of the adorable dog at the pre-Oscar lunch in February gave the film an advantage in the voting. They also argued that the dog cannot be considered a nominee.
