Pigcasso, the Million-Dollar Pig-Artist, Passes Away

Pigcasso, the pig-artist nicknamed Pigcasso, who earned over $1 million in her lifetime, has passed away in South Africa. The British newspaper The Daily Mail reported this on March 6. The cause of death was rheumatoid arthritis, and she was eight years old. Pigcasso's artworks are found in the collections of actor George Clooney and tennis player Rafael Nadal. Her works have also been used in campaigns by brands such as Nissan and Swatch. The money raised from the sale of her paintings went towards supporting Farm Sanctuary SA, a park for rescued farm animals located in Franschhoek, South Africa.
