Elon Musk and Bob Iger named America's most overrated CEOs

February 16, 2024

This status is awarded annually by the business magazine Fortune, which conducts a corresponding survey among hundreds of executives. Musk was accused of empty promises about Mars colonization, as well as the stagnation of Tesla: the company faced serious competition in the electric car market, resulting in a 25% drop in its shares. Bob Iger, the head of Disney, was criticized for endless Marvel sequels and a lack of new ideas. Last year, Disney's shares fell by 9% and reached a nine-year low.
