The Benefits of Long Weekend Sleep for Health

Chinese scientists from Nanjing Medical University have studied data from 3.4 thousand people. As a result, those who experienced sleep deprivation during the workweek and made up for it on weekends had a 63% lower risk of heart attack and other cardiovascular diseases. Conversely, those participants who did not compensate for their lack of sleep saw an increased risk.
