Scientists Develop AI for Wine Origin Identification

Scientists have developed an AI for determining the region of origin of wine. It is reported that the algorithm, using machine learning, has learned to identify not only the region where the grapes were grown but even the specific vineyard where the wine was produced. Instead of looking for individual compounds that differentiate one wine from another, the algorithm analyzes all chemical substances to accurately identify each bottle.
