Botticelli's Lost Madonna with Child

A painting by Botticelli called 'Madonna with Child', which went missing half a century ago, has been discovered in Italy. Originally, the artwork was located in the church of Santa Maria la Carità, and later passed down through a family as an inheritance. Art experts mistakenly believed it was lost. The painting is in poor condition, with the canvas suffering from oxidation and visible signs of damage in several places. Restoration work will begin soon. After that, the painting, valued at $110 million, will be exhibited to the public.
