South Korea to ban dog consumption

South Korea is set to ban the consumption of dogs following pressure from animal rights activists. The corresponding bill will be presented this year and is expected to be approved by Parliament. Law enforcement officials have already hinted that they will swiftly put an end to the entire industry once the law takes effect.
