Dinosaur Extinction: Dust from Meteorite Impact Revealed as the Culprit

November 10, 2023

Dinosaurs went extinct due to the dust from the impact of a meteorite. Scientists have created computer models based on climate data and deposits from that era. The results showed that trillions of tons of dust were ejected into the atmosphere of Earth after the asteroid's fall. As a result, photosynthesis came to a complete halt for two years and the temperature dropped by 15 degrees. This proved to be enough to disrupt the food chain and trigger a chain reaction of extinction.
