Renting a home may lead to premature aging, study finds

The organism of people who rent a home ages faster. Blood samples were taken from study participants to track DNA methylation, a process that affects the activity of its segments and disruptions can lead to premature aging and the development of diseases. Problems with the activity of DNA segments were more often found in those who rented a home in an unstable area and in those who missed at least one payment for it. Scientists explain this as stress caused by renting.
