Collectors can buy sewer lid covers in Japan

In Kyoto, authorities will sell collectors decommissioned sewer lid covers made between 1978 and 1990. They can be purchased for just 3000 yen (20 dollars). The lid covers are considered valuable works of art and symbols of regional pride. They feature local landmarks, famous people, and even Pokémon.
