The Ocean Cleanup launches new technology for cleaning the world's oceans

The Ocean Cleanup project has deployed a new technology. System 3 is capable of cleaning an area the size of a football field every five seconds. The system consists of a floating barrier 2.2 km long, which is towed by two ships.
