Are Internet Couples Less Happy in Marriage?

Internet couples who meet online are less happy in marriage, according to experts who surveyed over 900 married individuals in the US. Approximately half of the study participants met their spouses on social media, while the others met through friends, family, work, or at nightclubs. Participants who found their partners online reported higher levels of social marginalization compared to those who met offline. They received less support and acceptance from friends and family.
