Helsinki to Launch World's First Autonomous Water Taxis

Helsinki is set to launch the world's first autonomous water taxis. The standard version of the vessel travels at a cruising speed of 11 kilometers per hour. The batteries provide 9 hours of operation, with the additional energy from solar panels. Electric catamarans can be hailed through a smartphone application.
