Fecal Viruses from Lemurs and Giraffes Could Lead to New Antibiotics

Scientists from the UK claim to have found bacteriophages - viruses that remain effective when antibiotics fail - in the feces of lemurs and giraffes. If confirmed, fecal bacteriophages could be valuable in eradicating drug-resistant bacteria and preventing further antibiotic resistance.
