Return of the Capsule with Asteroid Bennu Sample

The capsule with soil from the asteroid Bennu has returned to Earth. The capsule delivered approximately 250 grams of asteroid soil. The soil will be transferred to the Johnson Space Center in Texas for analysis. The OSIRIS-REx spacecraft was launched to the asteroid in 2016 and entered its orbit in 2018.
