Psychologists have found that subjective life satisfaction varies throughout life. It decreases during adolescence, then increases, reaching its peak at 70 years old, and decreases again at 96 years. The results are based on the analysis of studies involving over 460,000 people. They have also noted that positive emotional states gradually decrease throughout life, while negative states decrease until the age of 60, and then increase again.
