An electric car has covered over 2,500 kilometers on a single charge, setting a new world record. The one-seater electric car muc022 was developed by engineers from TUfast Eco Team with a focus on maximum energy efficiency. The car weighs 170 kilograms without a driver and has a maximum speed of 42 kilometers per hour. With its small frontal area and streamlined shape, the car's body has a drag coefficient of only 0.159. The record-breaking distance was achieved using only a 400-watt motor. The installed battery has a capacity of 15.5 kilowatt-hours.
