Why do we get tired? We don't always distinguish physical fatigue from psychological exhaustion. For example, at work, we engage in familiar tasks, but for some reason, by the end of the day, we feel tired. In reality, to perform this work, we need to contain a multitude of emotions: anger - because the boss gives meaningless assignments; disgust - because the job contradicts our values; guilt - because we spend little time with our children, and so on. We have to suppress this layer of contradictions, and the mind expends a tremendous amount of energy on suppressing emotions.
