A US resident has been hospitalized with a mysterious illness after traveling to the Philippines. One Californian visited Manila, after which he developed flu-like symptoms. Soon his condition deteriorated sharply - he experienced lung collapse, brain inflammation, complications on the heart, liver damage, and early stages of kidney failure. Scientists cannot determine what infected him.
