Psychologists have determined that opposites do not attract. Researchers analyzed over 200 articles dedicated to romantic relationships and found that 82% to 89% of partner traits were similar, with only 3% showing significant differences. They then conducted a new analysis on almost 80,000 couples, who also shared a range of characteristics including political and religious views, educational level, and IQ scores. Differences were more commonly found in physical attributes such as height, weight, and health indicators. Additionally, extraverts were not more likely to enter into relationships with other extraverts compared to introverts.
