Mysterious Flannery Associates Acquires Land for New City near San Francisco

Mysterious company Flannery Associates has acquired land near San Francisco for $800 million to build a new city. Among the company's investors are Silicon Valley elite: LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman, investors Mark Andreessen and Michael Moritz, as well as Steve Jobs' ex-wife, Laurene Powell. Specific plans for the city are unknown. Flannery Associates proposed back in 2017 to create a city that runs on clean energy and is exclusively for pedestrians.
