Unique Spotted Giraffe Born in US Zoo

A one-of-a-kind giraffe without any spots was born in a zoo in the United States. The newborn female has a coat of completely brown fur. Typically, spots are necessary for camouflage and thermoregulation. The zoo believes that this baby will draw attention to the issue of declining wild giraffe populations.
