Scientists Discover Cooling of the Pacific Ocean

August 23, 2023

Scientists have found that the Pacific Ocean is cooling. The eastern part of the Pacific Ocean has started to cool contrary to all climate models. The temperature there has dropped by 0.5°C over the last 39 years - these are significant changes. The cooling of a substantial area of the ocean will affect the climate worldwide. According to researchers' estimates, the average global temperature by the end of the century may only rise by 1.3°C instead of the previously expected 1.9°C.
