The human brain may shrink due to climate change.

Scientists studied how the brain size of 298 Homo individuals has changed over the past 50,000 years in relation to data on temperature, humidity and rainfall. As the climate got warmer, the average brain size got significantly smaller. This trend means that continued global warming could be detrimental to human cognition and significantly affect our physiology.
