To do this, psychologists conducted a study of 256 people who kept a daily diary of observations of their condition for two weeks. Data has shown that sex with a partner and masturbation to orgasm reduce the time it takes to fall asleep and improve the quality of sleep in both men and women. However, the results of the longitudinal study are somewhat different. While partner sex with orgasms improved sleep quality, masturbation did not.
