Relatively small Dogen City with a diameter of 4 km will be designed for 10,000 permanent residents. In addition, up to 30,000 tourists will be able to visit it at the same time. Its round shape will be designed to withstand the harsh weather conditions and even tsunamis that regularly hit the coast of Japan. It was also mentioned that Dogen City would include a launch and landing site for reusable rocket transport.
