The planet's temperature will rise by 2.7°C compared to pre-industrial levels. Due to climate change, more than two billion people - 22% of the Earth's projected population - will be forced to live outside the comfortable conditions that have allowed humans to thrive for millennia. In this scenario, the countries with the most people - India, Nigeria, Indonesia, as well as the Philippines and Pakistan - will face the worst conditions.
