Engineers have created glasses that read the user's lips.

They can be used by people with speech impairments or in noisy environments. Two miniature echolocators are built into the frame of the glasses, which receive information about the slightest movements of the lips and skin of the face. The machine learning algorithm analyzes them and understands the spoken words and commands.
