The brain of dogs has increased over the past 150 years.

Swedish biologists have studied the skulls of 159 breeds of dogs and wolves. They found that modern breeds that have evolved over the past 150 years have larger skulls compared to body size. Probably the domestication of dogs thousands of years ago initially shrank some of their brains, but modern breeding has caused some cognitive growth over the last century and a half.
