The Gemini North telescope captured galaxies that seem to be connected to each other.

Astronomers believe that about 25-30 million years ago there was a head-on collision of two galaxies UGC 12914 and UGC 12915. As a result, an "intergalactic bridge" of turbulent gas formed between them.
