Britain has lifted the ban on testing cosmetics on animals.

The ban on such testing in the country was in effect for 25 years. It is being canceled to test ingredients for safety before they get to the production where people work. Prior to this, the only exception to the ban on animal testing of chemical products was the creation of drugs.
