British scientists have proposed giving harmful emissions to be eaten by volcanic microbes.

Researchers have discovered a new species of cyanobacteria that lives near the Italian island of Vulcano in the Tyrrhenian Sea, in the waters of which there is a lot of CO₂. It turned out that these microbes effectively absorb carbon dioxide. So, they can be used to combat harmful emissions.
