Spanish athlete Beatriz Flamini spent 500 days in a cave without communication with the outside world at a depth of 70 meters and broke the world record for underground isolation. The Flamini experiment is part of the Timecave project. Its participants wanted to find out how social isolation and disorientation in time affect his perception and the human psyche. Flamini's health was monitored with video cameras. Food and water were left for her without contact at a predetermined point in the cave.
