Mummies in Mexico can infect people with a dangerous fungus.

The mummies were buried in crypts in dry and mineral-rich soil, which allowed them to be perfectly preserved. They are now one of the popular tourist attractions in the region. At least one of the mummies showed signs of growth of possible colonies of the fungus. This can be dangerous for anyone who works at the museum and comes to see the exhibition.
