Italian psychologists rushed to compare how people read the manifestation of emotions in facial expressions and in emoji on the Internet. To do this, they conducted a study involving 96 male and female students. The results showed that men are much better at understanding the emotions of emojis than real facial expressions, especially when it comes to negative feelings such as anger, sadness and disgust. It was easier for women to judge a person's feelings by facial expressions. Scientists believe that men prefer digital images of emotions because they are less ambiguous and make it easier to correctly interpret them.
