Archaeologists have found the first traces of drug use in Europe.

They were found on the island of Menorca off the coast of Spain in the hair of a man who is about 3,000 years old. Scientists believe that the find indicates the use of substances that can cause delirium and visions: mandrake, henbane and dope ordinary. In addition, ancient people used ephedra, which contained the stimulant ephedrine.
