Five thousand drivers will participate in the pilot experiment. From 7:00 to 9:00 and from 16:30 to 18:30 their cars will be tracked using GPS trackers. For the refusal of one trip, drivers will be charged two euros, for a day without trips during rush hour - four, for a month - 80 euros. The mayor's office believes that traffic jams will become noticeably less if at least 6% of motorists refuse to travel during peak times.
