Scientists from the UK have found that people improve their health, sleep and immunity if they spend less time on social networks. In addition, they have reduced symptoms of depression and feelings of loneliness. The study involved 50 students aged 20 to 25 years. It found that those who used social media less, on average, improved immune function by 15%, sleep quality by 50%, and depression symptoms by 30%.
