Bioengineers have created extra fingers for healthy people.

Scientists are actively working on the creation of robotic body parts. They can be used for human empowerment, such as performing surgeries or preparing Sunday dinner. The experiment showed that out of 600 people, 98% learned to use the robotic finger within the first minute, meaning they could already move objects as instructed.
