In general, in the animal world, they are almost models of gentlemanship - giraffes always pick up an opponent in their weight category, and during a fight they always monitor the position so that no one gets an unfair advantage - if two giraffes meet who prefer to wave their heads to the left, they will line up facing their tails each other so that both would be equally comfortable to fight.
