Every nation has moonshine.

In Ukraine it is called vodka, in Hungary - palinka, in England - khuch, in Ireland - potin. Well-known brandy, whiskey, absinthe, grappa, tequila and rum are also moonshine. The ancient Egyptians made moonshine from corn and treated almost all diseases with it. In Sri Lanka, millet was used for its production, in Turkey - dates, in Kalmykia - sour milk, in India - bamboo, in Brazil - cane, in Mexico - cacti. The French get their famous Calvados from apples. Czechs, Slovaks and Bulgarians prepare excellent slivovitz.
