Dolphins can suffer from Alzheimer's disease.

Scottish researchers studied the brains of 22 deceased cetaceans of different species and found signs in three of them that are characteristic of Alzheimer's disease in humans. Previously, it was believed that this is an exclusively human disease and animals do not suffer from it.
